GOD'S WONDERFUL DAY

TO A BEAUTIFUL DAY


Blackbirds, Bluebirds,
Redbirds more,
sing their morning song
at my open door.

Happy Squirrels
are starting to play.
Gathering nuts
without delay.

12 little chicks
follow mommy hen.
Looking for bugs,
saying amen.

Little yellow flowers
come out of their shell.
With wonderful stories
of true love to tell.

I stand here
among all this.
Feeling nature’s
loving kiss.

Thank you LORD
for showing the way.
I want to know all
of what you say.

I sit at the park.
I feel the love.
I watch squirrels play
with GOD above.

As if I got the spirit,
I started to dance.
I screamed and yelled,
“IN MY PANTS!!”

A man looked at me
in total surprise.
With mean
and disapproving eyes.

As I ripped off my clothes,
I continued the dance.
He yelled, “What’s wrong with you?
What about your pants?”

Just another pervert
you see.
Everyone started
staring at me.

My ass is burning!!
Their in my pants!!
GOD forbid,
it’s a thousand ANTS!!

So before you judge,
the next time you see,
a crazy man
doing a dance like me.

Give him a chance
as he pulls off his pants.
They just might be filled
with a thousand fire ants.

for this wonderful day!

You can laugh now. By the time I realized I was standing on a fire ant mound, it was too late. When you feel tested, everyday, in everyway, tell the LORD thanks. I guess you have to live in Texas to enjoy the humor in this one.
