Dark Corner
Let me lure you to the corner
of my psychopathic mind.
Where bleakest madness rears it's head
and sanity's left behind.
Cobwebs hanging from my ceiling
aren't the worst there are to see.
It's a bitch of a place to be lost;
even for the likes of me.
You can keep your psychotherapy
and the places no one goes.
I've been there and back my friend,
and maybe now it shows.
There's emptiness behind these eyes
distant gaps that can't be closed.
I don't know where the river runs
when my corner is exposed.
