Heaven

I long to hear Your voice
as more than a rumble in the air,
Your fingers no longer be...
air brushing through my hair.

I long to see the face
of the One who created me,
making time stand still...
setting my spirit free.

I long to sit among you
on the ground at His feet,
singing the unknown praises
as the Father we all meet.

I long to stroll beside Him,
my Father up above,
drinking eternally
the gift of His love.
