Death,dying
I dreamnt I walked to heaven though not an easy task,
for to the Lord a question I would ask.
He beckoned me to sit, he was so very kind,
he said "now my dear child what is on your mind?"
"I am looking for an answer" I said "I have searched both far and wide,
for I know not what it is like to have sorrow on my side.
I have had nothing but happiness and fun all my life and so I've never had saddness or strife."
"Well my dear its nothing joyous you may know, but if insist you must I guess to you I'll show."
We traveled down a city street and took a fast drop,
to a house in a nice suburb we made sudden stop.
Into a room we walked and saw a girl laying on a bed,
next to her a lady knelt a held her sweaty head.
I looked up at the Lord with question in my eyes,
and then I knew it was a mother waiting as her daughter dies.
"How could this happen what can we do?"
He shook his head and sighed "bad things happen to everyone even you."
"I will not let sorrow happen to me I will not make it so! All this pain and sadness to me it will forego!"
But through all my anger I finally could see,
for as the hurting mother lifted her head I saw that she was me.
