The forbidden love

Chapter 1
An arrow whizzed through the air as everybody held their breath. A perfect bull's eye! The school girl had done it! Everyone cheered as she was crowned champion.
"The champion! Miss Violet Cumberdale!"the announcer shouted. Bralt hated to lie to people but she couldn't expose herself. It's bad enough that she's letting people see her azure blue eyes and champagne blond hair, but her name clearly gives it away. If they found out she was an elf she would be sent back to the Middle Realm, and Bralt like Earth better. War isn't breaking out like the flu on Earth. Then again, all of her family is at the Middle Realm, here she only had friends and admirers. Bralt was going over this as she walked home, being an elf she could have swiftly been home but she felt like sulking.
"Oh, curse it all!" Bralt muttered as it started to rain. So Bralt sulked home in the rain, slowly.
suddenly a hole opened up in the earth in front of her. Bralt screamed as she fell into the hole.As she landed on the lawn of the Grand Victorian house, she dreaded what was next. Her parents came running out and dragged her inside. Then her father said
"Honey you are betrothed!!"
"What?" She shouted. Her father nodded his head.
"To who?" Bralt questioned.
"His name is Brad Collier. I do believe you have met him before..." Her father said. Bralt just stared at her parents in shock. How could they do this to me? I thought my parents loved me? Oh my god! I...have...a...fiance!
