Despair

in the deep blue
swirling swirling
around and around
in she goes
to the bottom
sunk down, down, down,
and it brings despair
for all
who have seen and touched
and even loved
the mystic waters
for it goes
with a flash
and then
there is nothing
but the heart wrenching despair
of a calm deep blue sea
standing still
as the grim reality awakens
us all
