Poem for alphabet poetry contest round 10 |
Ode to Joy Opining of you day and night. I don't think I will win this fight. Not imitation but tried and true My mouth waters just thinking of you. Your elegance stirs my imagination. To have you, what a sweet sensation! But to yield, what a disaster! Hold me back, oh walls of plaster! Unfettered from this awful strain, Breaking loose the very last chain, I am here now, don't be coy, Surrender, my sweet Almond Joy! |
