What Have I Become

Not knowing what I can do
not knowing where I can go
I sit in a pit of despair
to myself I am not fair

Emptiness fills my heart
I have no where to start
filling the voids in my life
killing it slowly with my knife

I fall further into darkness
I plunge into the abyss
no motivations inspires me
to help me become free

The chains of self-doubt
never letting me get out
of the darkness created
by letting myself be defeated

I let it all hold me down
I slowly begin to drown
knowing I can escape it all
but thinking I will only fall

Fall further into the void
something I can not avoid
What have I done to myself
What have I made of myself
