Coming down with thoughts

Never a rhyme to the reasoning when it comes down to it. Dreaming of them all, but seeing I fit in rarely. What made us so damn special? Regretting whats already done won't make this boat move any faster. The captain saved her again. Flashes of their faces and delusions of a happier time were there. It hurts to know that I grew up without a home. Not even a broken one. I have no idea whats going down over there, but same goes for you here. Judge me and my life when you refuse to be apart of it. Ask me about the life I left behind and get angry over my answers. It was never my life to run from. It was everyone else's. What I have here is mine now. You won't forgive so I won't ask. Just leave me to what I have chosen, even if the choice was not my favorite.
