Mystical Moon

Mystical Moon

We all find ourselves at one
time or another
Captivated by the moon
above
Shining brightly when life
seems bleak
A beckon of light to find
our way
Lost and confused we find
light shining
On the path ahead, light from
above shines
We give our thanks for the
light given

Even as a sliver in the night
sky
We appreciate the sight of
the moon
For we know when lost
and abandoned
It will come and shine brightly
it's light

Some believe in mystical powers
it holds
Some just find glory and serenity
it brings forth
While others can not find solace
in it

I can not help but close my eyes
and tilt my head
Toward the light and let it wash
over me
I feel the mystical powers within
the moon
I seem to move easily then
before

Oh mystical moon cast your
spell
Wash your light over me
tonight
