My bed is a space where I’m myself
No worries or woes,
Just a pillow and duvet
A cool, relaxing place to go.
Sometimes I lie straight,
Other times, I squirm and wiggle,
Holding my pillow tight.
Or even dangle off the edge, as I giggle.
I love to lie and listen to the rain,
On stormy, winter nights,
As it gives me things to think about,
Like chocolate, shopping and other delights.
My bed means the world to me,
I laugh, cry, talk and sing there,
My bed is like a friend to me,
I could sleep all day & night, without
Any kind of care.
