Joke Is On Mom

My mother who loves a good joke really embarrassed me when I took my first boyfriend home for her to meet. Funny how jokes can turn around sometimes. My boyfriend and I entered the house and went into the living room. In the kitchen I could hear music very loud, will never forget the song, "Thank God, I'm a country Boy". I knew at that moment mother was going to embarrass me. She walks into the living room with some torn up overalls, a straw hat, some rubber boots and bubba teeth. I almost died as she introduced herself to my boyfriend. To her surprise she was unaware that his parents had come along as well and were sitting on the couch right behind her. She was very embarrassed and explained to the parents of this boy how she likes to joke around. The joke was on her that time.
