FIRE WORKING Her passion burns in her belly like a growing inferno So while she looks in his eyes she wonders where did HIS burn go "Is it I who extinguished out his fire?" She wonders The guilt of her gain continue pulling her under But all the while he burns secretly for another But his secret says "No," 'cause they're concerned like a mother For the other, which is she who continue's to simmer She who looks in his eyes and can still see a winner He tries and tries again but his fire ain't working It used to pop in his belly, but no longer is he certain That she could do it for him, 'cause her gain is not appealing She's just to large, there's no way of concealing But the way her fire is still there, the colors still bright and vibrant Causes her to stay and try to figure out where his fire went So she tries to find it in the chocolate, in the food, in the chips And all of her searching is apparent right there in her hips His fire is completely gone now, can't recover it now But his secret still strives to figure out how Until one day they give up, his secret collapses down in the dirt When no longer are THEY appealing, he finds his fire works |
