Smell the spring shower
Oh the memories it brings back
The sights, smells, tastes
Memories of Memorial Day cookouts
We would be playing on the trampoline
And then being squished insinde that tiny house
With all those people
And watching my cousin
Running inside and outside
To cook burgers and hot dogs
For all the hungry people
Memories of camp
Of being stuck inside a tent
And told not to touch the lining
Of being stuck at the roller palace...all day...
And the smelly barn at Lynch.
Yea, we took shelter in there, too.
And that disgusting bath house at Obear
The memories of
Good and bad
Happy and sad
Family and friends
Those who are still around
And those who are now dead
Or gone from our lives
Yet still thrive in our memories
Smell the spring shower.
Can you see the memories?
