Sad, times in the NHS, I pray I win this fight, for it is for honour, morality and right
I Will Not Go

I will not be running,
Though for me they’re gunning,
I’ll stay, stand, face the foe,
Why should I be forced to go?

I will not be fleeing,
I hope you’ll be seeing
That I am right to show
Why I really should not go.

I will not be hiding,
My time I’ll be biding,
For I want you to know
I’ll not be the one to go.

I will not be cringing,
Everything is hinging,
On why you were so slow,
I refuse to just let go.

I will not be leaving,
Won't give up believing,
Can't let you bring me low
I know I’m right not to go.

I will not be ending,
The truth I’m befriending,
Through all this I will grow
Be so glad I didn’t go

A grievance I will pledge
That should give me the edge
Negligent you’ve been and so
I will not be the one to go.

I cannot give the details yet, but this is about honour, my honour and I am taking on power and might. I am challenging the system and fighting to clear my name. The power that I am taking on is the National Health Service, (NHS), or rather the NHS Trust hospital for which I work. At stake, my nursing registration and my last 17 years of nursing and the future of my career. However, on my side I have truth and right. Please wish me luck.
