Rain

The leaves are whipping around through the air
Spinning around the cars driving up and down the road

Rain starts to fall on the windshield
Slowly at first

A small smile crosses my face at the sight of the rain
Falling from the heavens

To me
Rain is wonderful
It’s the cleansing of the Earth
Of course, physically,
But also a strong spiritual cleansing

The rain is a blessing
It wipes away the dirt on the Earth
And it cleans out the moods of many people.

Rain is a calming affect to me.
