Darkness

feeling alone here, standing in the world all alone,
feeling someone is watching me for the shadows,
knowing who it is watching me,
I have the feeling, it is someone I don't know,
seeing their eyes, staring at me from the sha-dows,
feeling the fire from their eyes,
knowing they want to bring me into the sha-dows,
wanting me to follow their evil way,
they know-I have control of, the soul they really want,
they just don't know how to get-it, working on it in away,
I feel them working from with in me, turning me from with in,
there is a light-there that they just can't conquer by their selfs,
they need some help to, turn the light off on my soul,
they didn't know when, they were watching me. I had a partner
here to help me along, to show me the way-to stay out of the shadows,
giving me the path to know where I was going. shining the light on me
as I fight-my demons from the inside of my body. they not knowing I had
the one thing that would keep them from having me. It was my faith,
the one thing they didn't count on, it is a battle from with in. Shining the light on
them keeping them at bay. knowing they can't work the light of faith,
keeping my distance from their staring eyes, not giving them the chance of day,
to get to me and turn my faith around, I stand firm in my faith to the lord,
knowing that the lord will help me fight my inner demons from taken me to the shadows,
following in the lord's light, will help me keep the firey eyes at bay,
just remember the lord will do glorious things when you have faith.
