A poem I wrote in the aftermath of Katrina
One Dead
Who lie rotting in the streets for weeks
Someones son, brother or best freind
Or could he have been the father or three?

One Dead
Amgonst thousands with decaying eyes through which he will never again see
the world in all in its glory and totrourus grandeur and pageantry
One Dead
Whose life seems so paltry and trivial
Someones name I will never know
Who was he yesterday? and what will he be tommorow
