As my Brief Description says, this is new to me. But I've heard and read that freewriting, journal-writing (and blog-writing) can be good for one and that it can be good for one's writing. And I've just decided that if I want to take momentary study breaks to visit Writing.com, I'm not going to spend my moments logging in and out just to check my e-mail to see if anyone's reviewed my latest port entry. This only increases my frustration (on nights like tonight) and it isn't rejuvenating, like a break is meant to--needs to--be.
So I'm starting my own blog, a place to visit when nobody else is showing an interest, on nights like tonight, for instance. A place where it is safe to talk to myself using the keyboard. I've sung, talked, laughed aloud to myself, and even danced with myself, and now I'll try writing for myself!! Of course, it will be "out there" for the world (within WdC) to see, but I won't write in it with the hope or expectation that someone who reads it and likes it will respond in writing, so I shall be pleasantly surprised if anyone drops me a note about something I've written there.
I'm pleased to welcome you, with complete sincerity, to read as much as you'd like, without feeling any obligation whatsoever to write your comments, your suggestions, or a Review!
Now I am truly free to write!!! ~~~~~~~~> (Just as you are free to do as you like!)
