when a tree falls

When i was hit in the face with a bat, did it hurt?
Yep.
When i was punched in the stomach, did that hurt too?
Sure it did.
When I was cursed and thrown out, that hurt more.
When I lost my company, it hurt so much.
When I could not eat, that hurt some.
When I was in the hospital, how much did it hurt, from 1 to 10?
When I banged my head, did that hurt? Nope.
When I'm cut I stil bleed, and when I bang my leg, I still bruise and limp.
But it doesn't hurt. It never hurts.
But when a tree falls in a forest with no one around, does it make a noise?
Of course it makes a noise, and it makes a thud and it breaks branches and dents the Earth and it hurts.
But no one hears it.
