She whispers in darkness
The shelter in lies
Shadows
Forgotten by all, but God.
And her hope is now gone
Shattered.


Yesterday’s sorrow is today’s fear (*fear tomorrow*)
Nightmares about dreams once made
Figures in the wind..
..Dreams about nightmares (*wake, wake up*)
And snow’s frozen rain after all
as she cries frozen tears.

For him she’d have died (* ‘nd now she’s dead*)
He ran, ran away to hide
from himself, he hides-
behind someone he didn’t belong to
Darkness after all (*soothing painful*)
She’s lost within yeah but
Does he know himself?

No...

She’s dead inside… (*nothing to do with breathing*)

Wounded before dawn
The last drop, another tear
What’s left of hope
Give up on his pretending (*not brave enough*)
The hopeless burned
Taking the wrong one…
His pretending

Blood, she’s bleeding (*going down*)
Soul flows down the hill
Blind one died on his way home
No longer take it (*ended it herself*)
Too late he realized
The huge mistake he made


And now she’s being missed by him
Missed by everyone,
Everyone but God…
