another commentary poem about the state of mankind |
This urge to go We get an urge to just go, just do what it is that makes us who we are, the irresistible urge. We don’t question ourselves, we don’t weigh up the countless pieces of good and bad experience. We just do what it is that makes us who we are. And taking into account the reasons for our condition we come into conflict. A constant fight that puts us at a state of frenzied energy, the point of perception, like exploding into a reality where we are forced to perceive and react, a reality that is both vivid and horrifying, a reality that constantly challenges the battle between what we know and what we think. And so where do we come out on the other side? or do we constantly walk around in the thick fog reflecting on everything that happens yet reacting like animals. The successes we accept are falsities of perception as are the failures. Our life is molded on the generalities of detail where it should be molded on the urge to just do what it is that makes us who we are. And so I write to you, on the urge of doing something that I adore, something that draws my mind into battle and something that I don’t question. This urge to go. |
