Writer's Cramp, Another summer for a group of children |
Another summer on repeat for the same group of children. The sun sitting proud on the a stage made of clouds Is another reminder that the fun can last longer for them. School days are no where near the thoughts in their head. The playground is fill with laughter as they run around With an imagination that has no limit to creative imaginations; A green monster with wings, six arms, five legs, and spider eyes That spits fire beams from its fingers when you are infront of it. An old soap dish seems to be only weapons the boys have To protect their women, Princess, from being wounded in battle. It is used as a shield as the monster attack from the side. It is used as a Frisbee when the monster is distracted. A gliding UFO cut through the monster to produce A victory well deserved until it hits a car's window. Jaws drop the shiny piece of glass shatters into pieces - Smalled ridged edges of glass scattered in the car and ground. The group of children run as fast as their legs with move their bodies. They dispute together hoping no one what event just took place. A summer the group of children never forget as they came together. Their actions was just a beginning of many memories to follow. 20 lines of poetry and 219 |
