All You Need

My heart ‘d been broken so many times,
How could I trust again?
But He spoke to me last summer,
And gave me a love I couldn’t contain.

He’s taught me to love the world,
No matter what I face.
For He’s given me a love,
And showed me His wonderful grace.

I’ve done my best to love you,
And I promised I’d never leave.
You did the same for me,
And you taught me how to believe.

Somehow I’ve made you angry,
Though this friendship’s just begun.
Well now you’ve turned your back,
And I wonder what I’ve done.

I forgive you for your anger,
And repent of my greed.
I pray you’ll one day see,
That He is all you need.
