Cacophony

Silence, magnified
To a single point.
Razor sharp
A knife through fabric.
A needle in the vein.
Bells like a heart breaking.
The devil chasing you,
Running, running, running.
The rhythm in your head.
Strangling in a silk sheet,
High heels on pavement.
Fingers in your hair,
Probing to the brain.
Blood rushing, red patches, flush.
Dripping pipes, water in your head.
Silence leaking in
Covering you, suffocate.
