Dinner

What a dinner we had last night,
With roasted ham and turkey delight.
Stuffing with gravy and baked potatoes,
Chopped turnips and stewed tomatoes.
With vanilla pudding and apple pie,
To look at it gave a great big sigh.
There was berry tart and lemon mousse,
Warm pear cider and apple juice.
And after we were all well fed,
We went to sleep all snug in bed.
