Storm

Rising up, up over the mountains, the clouds race.

Looking like dark stampeding horses.
Racing across the sky with thundering hooves.

The sound is deafing.
Then lighting sparks from those thunderous hooves.
Streaking across the sky with blinding light.

The winds howl behind the dark steeds, nipping at
their heels. Keeping them moving, constantly moving,
giving no rest.

Then, silence.
Blissful silence, as the clouds race away.
