Longing to Cry

Pain is what I know, hurt is who I am.

I cry and no one knows, I weep and there is no one there.

I cannot show it, but I want the people to see I do have these feelings and they are true to me.

I have no tears, I wish they would show.

To see someone cry makes me wish I could do the same.

I hurt and can’t show it the pain is immense but no one knows it.

When can I stop with the suffering and show all.

Will they care and help me or turn away saying I am weak.

Let it all stop and soon, just let me cry.
