Oh General

I'd love to save the world
a piece or two at a time
but the competition has grown fierce
twisted the arms of
even the most vicious men
empowered are those who do not know
they don't want to
living in ignorance they sentence us
playing god because of materialism
playing satan because of pride
how long will we let these generals
rape us of a beauty we could slowly see
rather than the grand paradise
we envy over the way
