Yesterday, Today And Forever

Yesterday, I stopped to think about you
and the things I missed the most.
all my memories of you,
Your smile,
your laugh,
your deep but, gentle and kind voice,
the twinkle in your eye.
The feeling when you held me close.
The big hugs,
and even the kisses I'd wipe away,
youd kiss me once more.
I sit and hold that teddy bear,
you gave to me for christmas when I was a young girl.
I hold the memories dear,
for I will never forget.
You came to see me everyday,
whenever I needed you,
you were there.
To dry my tears,
to hold me close.
I often wish I were a kid again,
turn back time.
Just to see you face
to hear you voice,
your laughter,
see your smile,
just to be with you, just once more.
I miss you so much.
Yet, I know your here with me everyday.
You'll always have a special place in my heart.
I find myself talking to you,
Yesterday, I thought about you.
Today, I dreamth about you.
Forever, I will miss you.
