Sarah and Vicki Lowe are having trouble with family, school, friendship and love
Professor Trent Lowe didn’t want his youngest child, Sarah, to go to the music camp she had been begging to go to for the past few weeks. He had heard some bad stories of that place where it was being held, and he didn’t want Sarah mixed up with it all. After all she was only 14. Of course his wife, Ashlee, disagreed. She thought that it was a wonderful chance for Sarah to become a wonderful pianist, even though she was pretty much there. Sarah would lock her self in her room for hours, practicing and writing new songs. When she was 7, her best friends Dad gave her a piano lesson every Sunday after church. Ashlee gave her a keyboard for her birthday and kept it in her room.
Now, she was 14 and really wanted to go to that camp.

One day Sarah had locked herself in her room with her older sister Vicki, who was 15, discussing how she as going to the convention. “I’ve got it!” She said with great enthusiasm. “Wait, what are Mum and Dad doing?” Vicki answered her voice full of sarcasm, “What they’ve been doing since you asked them to go to that camp.”
“Perfect!” Sarah exclaimed. She gave Vicki her mobile number and told Vicki the plan then walked towards the door.

The professor and his wife had a meeting in the lounge room. “I don’t want Sarah going to that piano camp in Elizabeth, and that’s final!”
“But Trent, You don’t know how hard she has worked for this!” Ashlee exclaimed. “Actually I do!” Trent stormed. This is where Sarah’s and Vicki’s plan comes into action.
Sarah ran to the top of the staircase in tears. “You don’t know my talent do you Dad?” She paused still crying. “I asked you a question?” She ran back into her room and slammed the door.

Vicki smiled inside Sarah’s room. She was glad Sarah was a good actress or she would never of been able to pull it off. Vicki quickly packed Sarah’s keyboard and put it outside the window along with Sarah’s bag of clothes. Sarah came in and slammed the door. “Ok Vick You ready?” She asked when she caught her breath. Vicki slowly nodded her head. “Ok, let’s do it.” She hugged Vicki goodbye and told her to remember that she needs to call her when she was alone. Sarah quickly climbed out the window and jumped to the ground.

Trent sat in a chair his head in his hands.
“I’ve really done it now haven’t I Ash?” He said quietly after some time.
“I think so, but if you talk it out with her, you just might be able to work it out.” Ashlee suggested. “Yeah, I guess that’s what I do, she’ll probably turn me away though. He turned and slowly started trudging up the stairs, when Vicki started coming down the stairs listening to music, nearly colliding with the professor. “Oh Dad have you seen Sarah?” She asked even though she knew perfectly well she was. “Last I knew she had stormed into her room.” Ashlee answered with brow wrinkled with worry. “Well I just knocked on her door because I wanted to talk to her about something, but she wasn’t in there.” Vicki never knew she was such a good actress; she nearly smiled, but quickly stopped herself. She remembered her next line. “Her keyboard’s gone as well.” She added. Trent slowly looked at Ashlee. “When does the camp start?” He asked. Ashlee walked to the calendar. “Uuuuuuummmmm” She suddenly gasped. “What?!?” Trent asked worry clearly in his voice. Ashlee looked at her husband. “The camp starts tomorrow!”

Sarah knew she had to find a place to go and get away fast. Vicki had given her a little time to get away, but not enough, but that wasn’t her fault. She also knew she would be in a lot of trouble when she got back, and she hoped she would not need to worry about that yet.
Her keyboard hurt her back as she reached into her pocket for her mobile phone, and she desperately tried to remember her best friends number she remember it quickly and punched in the numbers.
Her best friend, Tiana, answered on the second ring. “Hey Ti.” Sarah said after they said hello. “Are you still going to that piano camp in Elizabeth” She asked a hint of hope in her voice. “Yes, As a matter of fact I am about to leave right now.” Tiana said. Are you going, Saz?” She asked calling Sarah by her nickname. “Well, I would but I don’t have anyone to take me.” She answered waiting to see if Tiana would answer her. “Would you want to come with us? We have a few more spots in the car” asked Tiana.
“Sure!” Sarah said trying to hide her enthusiasm. “Who have you got with you?” She said enquiringly. “Ummmmm a guy I know.” “How old is he?” she then asked. “15 or 16, wait, he can drive so he must be older, I dunno, something like that.” “Ok see you in a minute; I will start walking to your house.” Sarah hung up and started walking in the direction of Tianas house. After only a few steps the phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and realised it was Vicki. “Good, she must be alone” she thought hopefully. She quickly answered it. “Hello?” “Hi Saz, Where are you? Don’t worry I am alone.” “I am walking to Tianas house she is going to take me.” “Ok just checking, oh by the way Mum and Dad have gone into a complete frenzy looking for you.” Vicki said. Sarah answered, “Do they have my mobile number?” “I think they do., but I am doing all I can to stop them from ringing you. I will change my number to my old number. I think I know how to, so that you will now who is ringing you.” “Thanks Sarah answered “Should I call them when I get there? And maybe you should tell them that I am safe or something like that?”
“I don’t want to worry them even more.” Vicki said. By then Sarah was at Tianas house “Ok, I am at Tianas house now I will talk later.” Sarah hung up and walked towards Tianas car parked in the driveway.
