Funerals are long and depressing dead poems.
receiving book on the counter
pages smeared in tears.
weeping,
standing at his coffin,
flowers wilt as she screams out.
crawling in the dark box,
shut it i'm going with him,
she exclaims.
family and friends struggle,
pull her away.
i'm helpless, shocked, legs numb,
thinking,
i'd die right now
for a love like that.
