Hunting Trip

         Brown sneakers, jeans, tee shirt, and eyes like holes into Hell.
         "Can I help?" I asked.
         "Prolly not."
         "How about food, bath, warm place to sleep?"
         Something awoke in his eyes.
         "Sounds good." He stood. I pointed and we walked towards my place.
         He smiled a little.
         I smiled wide. His life will end soon.
