Dear Dad,
Thanks for taking me out Kayaking when we were on holiday. It was great to spend some time with you, what with you being principal and all. I probably don't say thank you enough. So here goes...Thanks for the Kayking trip, our drive around Northland, and your “pep talks” when I felt low and unsure of myself. You have always been there for help when needed, not only when I kept falling out of the kayak, or advice on how to surf a wave. You are a “fountain” of comfort and advice. I apoloise for the typed message, but I find it hard to voice what I want to tell you, so I decided to type it out.
