Before its too late!

God made earth from birth.
Gave creation, formed a nation.
At the end of the street, just to see it.
Your heart skips a beat.

The land is looking bare,
houses built everywhere.
All the trees were knocked down.
Now there is a lake to be found.

The groundhogs have left.
The birds don't sing their song.
Have I gone deaf?
Something here is very wrong.

Why do we destroy the land?
The land that was put in our hands.
How can we put God to shame?
We will be the ones to blame.

We have to do something fast.
Or the human race will not last.
God gave us this earth beauty.
Now its time to do our duty.

How will things be just fine?
When our life is on the line.
What will be our fate?
Tell me now, before its too late.
