Lust

L- losing yourself in something so profound,
wanting to escape this tragedy but,
finding yourself powerless

U- Unifying yourself with impurity,
surrounding yourself with those
things that are not of Him.
Wanting to get out but,
it feels oh, so good...

S- supplying yourself with
the pleasures of this world,
never thinking about
the consequences of your actions,
living for today and
not tomorrow's satisfaction.

T- Touching, feeling yourself
like you have no control.
The world says,"It's okay.
God gave us these
pleasures for a reason,
why not exercise them a bit?"
Your mentality's shot,
you go in your room,
take a breather.
Ready to indulge
in sin once more.

Why not just fight it? Why give in to sin and
allow it to reign in your mortal body.
Why become a slave to its desires?
Why lose yourself over such
profanity that it has you bound?
Why not just tell it to
get lost, find another host?

So many questions but
only one answer:
We won't do what
He says only 'cause
it feels SO good to sin!
It's in our nature, but
not His! We must obey or
face the punishment.
No one listens though
so I guess we'll be
stuck until reality comes
pounding at our door,
forcing us to wake up and
realize we were wrong all along!

Why not just fight it? Why give in to sin and
allow it to reign in your mortal body.
