The Willow

tears staining her cheeks
emotions running deep
her reflection in the water
isnt herself at all

Purple Haze all around
can't find a way back home
abandoned in the world
in which alone, she's supposed to roam

On the willow, branches sway
underneath in the shadows is where she lay
wondering why it turned to this

left cold in the dust
hurt and hopeless
why did this happen?
will she always be so cold?
