My Life

My life can be beautiful,
Though at times it's bitter.
I try to hold back my tears,
Try to hide the sadness inside of me.
It seems as if I'm ripped apart,
I've fallen deep inside the darkest place.
I feel dreadful inside and I hope that you notice it,
I want to leave this dreadful world of mine.
All you see on the outside of me,
Is how happy I look as I laugh at your jokes.
I look as if the world was perfect,
As if anything could happen,
But this is how I feel inside.
Trust me, you don't want to be me.
It doesn't seem like it as I laugh
But that's just to cover up the tears I cry.
I hope you understand this poem,
And help me out of this darkness,
Like I'm trying to.
I guess my life isn't so beautiful afterall.
It's just another black hole...
