A lighthearted idea Ive been struggling to make into a poem, I appreciate any help or tips |
That's not camping! The diesel fumes fester while you park the RV Vacationing with your microwave and satellite TV Camping is escape, to beaches in summer, and leaves in the fall Luxuries abound as though you've never left home at all The generator hums as you turn on the power providing light for your jumbo shower That's not camping! Camping is nature and wilderness and stuff Sometimes it is supposed to be a little rough That's not camping! I stay only in my pop up camper keeping it simple, I dont need to be pampered It's all about fishing, swimming, taking a hike off to the woods where I ride on my bike my bug spray on while i sit by the fire singing songs until we tire I've found the stove, the burners are lit Food cooked outside is always a hit That's not camping! No luxury camping in style Sometimes It can be fun to rough it a while That's not camping! you're wrong too nobody gets it, not like I do camping is complete escape from society Becoming one with the forest entirely Live in the woods, sleep in the trees Summertimes you sweat, winters you freeze Why bother with your bug spray? a splash of urine will keep the insects away While camping the only food I will eat is caught by my human hands and human feet eventually the forest and I will become one That is the source of my joy and fun That's not camping! trailors and RV's parked on a site I am the one who does it right |
