Sword of Vengeance, Sword of Might

I was in a philosophical mood when I wrote this. I was going to write the next chapter to my epic (An Elf Among the Shadows- look it up guys!), but instead I wanted to write about something beautiful. Please give feedback!


Sword of Vengeance, Sword of Might
Sword of Warriors, Sword of the twilight

Lady of beauty, wielder of the swords,
Keeper of the secret, mistress of the warlords.

A love unfulfilled, unfulfillable, which I feel
A love for this mistress, the spinner of the wheel.

The lady of beauty, of swords, of the power,
In love with her am I, so scared to give her flowers!

Deep blue eyes, shining hair, slender nose and cheek,
I dream about her all night while unable to sleep

She haunts my dreams, not the dragons of the night!
Fair elven queen who holds the sword of might...

Someday my love shall be cast into her sea,
her sea of love, her sea of dreams, her sea of beauty

Until then I wait, love locked in my heart,
unable to grace (which is her) this fine work of art

OH!

Sword of Vengeance, Sword of Might,
Sword of the Warriors, Sword of the Twilight!
