Insanity

Do you hear it? The world coming undone
Shots ring out
Insanity takes form of a gun.

Do you smell it? Fear stained in the heart
Crimson bleeds through the white
Lives destroyed, ripped apart.

Do you taste it? A tounge doused in screams
Those begging for mercy
Clinging to hope for all it seems.

Do you feel it? Terror possessing in its wake
Cries coursing through your body
Mocking horror for horrors sake.

But do you see it? The monsters we become
Unraveling all that is known
Letting insanity take form of a gun.
