How do you tell him that you are sorry for breaking his heart
That hurting him was not your intention from the start
Nothing but love and compassion was on your mind
And that he was worth every minute of your time

How do you tell him that you loved him and everyday it grew stronger
But that pretending complete happiness you could do no longer
All was well and dandy when he showed he cared
But as time went on, and you asked for the simple things... they just were not there
