Sugary sweet cliches falling from a well oiled tongue.
I don't want to say things you may have heard
Heart wrenching, pulse throbbing, dramatic phrases
I don't want to be untrue
Eyes wandering,soul restless, looking for something new
I don't want to make your eyes water misplacing your trust
I don't want to break any promises, lie, or cause you to ever complain
But I am human.
I may do those things
But I don't want to.
I want to be the heart that you have wanted to find
The woman who makes believing in someone else seem easy
The friend you want to share dreams and secrets with
I want to be last thing you think of at night and the first thing you think of in the morning
I want to be to you what you are to me
