Just listen

I wish I could speak to some one that would just listen.
I don’t want you to laugh and I don’t want you to cry.
I don’t want you to argue with me.
I don’t want you to judge my reasons
Or tell me how bad of a daughter, sister or friend I am.
You just don’t know me and if you don’t know me then don’t say anything to me.
Stop saying I’m worthless and good for nothing.
You have no idea of who I truly am.
Maybe if you just shut up and listen you could find out. 
So just stop putting words in my mouth.
I can speak for myself.
Even if you knew, you wouldn't understand.  How could you, when you don't even know yourself?"
Don’t judge me for being the way I am when you’re no better than me.
