Look Into My Eyes

Look into my eyes
and tell me what you see.
Don't worry about my feelings
what you say can't hurt me.

You believe I made a choice
and I feel sorry for you.
You're closed minded
and what I say may not get thru.

The only choice for me to make
is whether or not to tell a lie.
The choice you have is to listen
or stay on your horse so high.

I know you wouldn't spread hate
cause God wouldn't want it that way.
And yet you tell me I'm going to hell
just because I'm gay.

Did I go to the wrong church?
Doesn't the bible teach love?
We're all searching for the answer
but it can only come from above.

So look into my eyes
and tell me what you see.
Look deep inside yourself
and maybe you too can be free.
