Absent-minded Professor

An absent-minded professor he was called,
For various reasons which he didn't knew,
He passed his days in forgetful spree,
That's how his fame always grew.

His parents thought he was a smart boy,
So the cellar was made his special room,
But some exothermic reaction went out of control,
The house exploded in a massive boom.

Since that accident something affected his memory,
Now he doesn't even remember their names,
'Cause an awesome fire was seen then,
As everything was consumed by flames.
