Life In China

In the fall of 2002 I came to China to live, as it turns out. This was not my plan but that seems to be what happened. In 1998 I came to Hong Kong the first time and taught English for one month. It paid well.

In 1999 and 2000 I visited Chengdu twice and found this place very beautiful. The scenery was good, the food excellent and my friends very hospitable, unfortunately there was no chance to do business.

Then in 2002 I found myself in Tianjin through another Chinese person I had met. This is seems was to be my destiny. Here I began to teach English as I looked for business opportunities. Business was not meant to be.
