Selfish Intentions

Veil masked, darkened by nature
Of concern for the collection,
With a solitary intention in mind
Restraining personal confection.
A treacherous pact between them
Without a plain clairvoyant view,
Of what is to befall those –
That to this plan subdue.

A member makes the distinction
Of what maybe good for none,
Not realizing the undying cost
Of a single moment of fun.
Found amidst the displeasure
Of gratification upon an instance,
Results in an unforeseen end
Of tenderness in the distance.
