Let the feelings build up inside
Let them brew in your mind
Let your brain settle
Get into the right frame of mind

It don’t have to rhyme
It don’t have to need sense
It don’t have to make sense
Structure is not a necessity

Have a think
What’s on your mind?
Think about it
Then put your pen to paper
Put your fingers to the buttons
And write away, type away
At the end read it through
Amend it if you think right

People don’t need to see your work
People don’t need to know your poetry
It can be whatever you want it to be
As long as you’re happy…
