Intro to a story

Im planning on writing a story using this as a prolouge but some of the feedback from my family suggested I didnt and some said go for it, I could use a little more.....
It is kind of short but it is still a work in progress....well, here it is....



You do not know of me? That’s good, that means I can tell you my story without the lies of the king and his nobles , without the common peoples rumors affecting the truth. I can tell you of these last ten years that have created my legend. I can tell you how I bathed in my own blood and tears. Yes, I said tears, even Deathbringers shed tears. What? You don’t know what a Deathbringer is? I guess I must start from the very beginning for you to understand how and why I am what I am.
I must tell you the deadly training I went through, the friend who was killed by my own hand...the death of my first love, my only love. I must tell you why the king and his pathetic nobles want me found and killed.
